Performance Levels for Product Line VerifiedCUMMING, GA – February 16, 2011 – Strata Systems announces that the results of tests performed by the National Transportation Product Evaluation Program (NTPEP) on its geogrid products have been published in a final report and are available on the NTPEP website (www.ntpep.org). Strata engineers are pleased that the products tested by NTPEP performed consistently with or better than the company has self-reported in all areas measured. Product attributes tested include tensile strength, creep rupture, installation damage, and durability. Strata’s Polyester PVC coated geogrid products were included in the test. NTPEP test data is widely accepted by Departments Of Transportation and municipalities throughout the U.S. Nine states use the NTPEP protocols as their only source to certify products for their approved Quality Product Listing, and twenty-one states require or accept NTPEP reports as part of their product certification process. The NTPEP provides an objective review of manufacturers’ products by providing a uniform method for determining laboratory testing and field evaluation protocols, testing and evaluating products in similar conditions, and reporting results. Strata’s report is one of four reports evaluating products from U.S.-based manufacturers and one of seven total reports for geosynthetic products published by the NTPEP. For more information on NTPEP and to download Strata’s report, visit: www.ntpep.org.
