StrataWall System

Nature has its limits when it comes to resolving site development problems and maximizing land use due to grade change issues.

Strata systems are classified as geosynthetic reinforced soil structures—a subset of mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) systems— which offer the most affordable and flexible approach to providing a change-in-grade construction solution. By using our StrataSlope Systems approach, we are able to provide technical resources, project management, and site consultation from the first stages through finished construction.

The StrataWall System is ideal for situations when you need to maximize a steeper wall.

StrataWall allows for a slope that is greater than 70 degrees. Rock and wire facing options are well-suited for this system. The StrataWall System utilizes a wide range of products including StrataGrid, StrataSlope and StrataTex.

Strata provides innovative systems and technology that provide economic advantages while ensuring structural integrity and sound engineering principles.

Advantages of the StrataWall System:

  • Significant cost savings compared to steel-reinforced concrete structures
  • Tolerant of total or differential settlement
  • Multiple facing solutions including vegetation and rock fill
  • Fast Installation (1,000 to 1,500 sf/day)
  • Environmentally friendly
  • Minimal impact on environmental areas (i.e. wetlands, natural habitats)
  • Excellent structural capacity
  • Utilize on-site fill or minimize borrow requirements
